On the wedding day, the plan provides direction while live mixing, phrasing, blending and room reading allow the celebration to move naturally.

Frequently Asked Questions
What is included in the service hours?
Bronze includes up to three consecutive hours of service for ceremony and cocktail hour coverage or a shorter reception.
Silver includes standard ceremony coverage at the same venue, plus up to six consecutive hours of DJ and MC reception service.
Gold includes expanded ceremony coverage, plus up to eight consecutive hours of DJ and MC reception service.
For Silver and Gold, reception hours begin at the agreed start of cocktail hour music and include dinner and dancing. If cocktail hour coverage is not required, we agree on the reception start time during planning. Ceremony coverage is separate from these reception hours.
Setup, sound check and equipment removal do not count toward your service hours. Your agreement confirms the start and finish times for your selected coverage.
Do you provide ceremony sound?
Yes. Bronze can be used for ceremony and cocktail hour coverage within its three consecutive service hours.
Silver includes standard ceremony coverage when the ceremony and reception are held at the same venue.
Gold includes expanded ceremony production and a separate sound system when required.
Separate venues, additional sound zones, extended coverage and complex microphone requirements will be included in your customized quote.
Can We Request Specific Songs?
Yes. Every couple can provide must play songs, songs to avoid and music preferences through the Private Wedding Planning Portal.
Silver and Gold also include controlled guest requests. Guests can submit suggestions before the wedding or on the wedding day until a cutoff you choose.
Guest requests remain suggestions. They never become an automatic playlist or override your preferences.
How does the Private Wedding Planning Portal work?
Your Private Wedding Planning Portal holds your music selections, formal moments, timeline, comments and planning updates in one place.
You do not need to complete everything in one sitting. You can return whenever you want, and both you and DJ KingJewelz are notified when information or comments are added or changed.
What's the Wedding Recap Mix?
The Wedding Recap Mix is a privately delivered custom DJ mix built around selected songs and musical highlights from your reception. It gives you a way to revisit the sound and energy of the celebration after the wedding.
The Wedding Recap Mix is included with Silver and Gold.
What if something goes wrong with equipment?
We bring backup equipment to every wedding and have an emergency backup DJ on-call. In 20+ years, we've never missed an event or experienced significant technical issues.
Can you coordinate with our other vendors?
Yes! We work closely with venues, photographers, videographers, and event planners to ensure seamless timing and coordination throughout your wedding day.
Do you serve as MC?
Yes! MC services are included in all packages. We handle announcements for key moments including grand entrances, toasts, cake cutting, bouquet toss, and any other special moments you'd like announced.
What's your music style?
We specialize in open-format DJing, seamlessly blending all genres based on your preferences and crowd response. From classic hits to current Top 40, rock to R&B, country to cultural music; we adapt to keep your guests engaged and the dance floor packed.
Are travel fees or HST additional?
Your written quote will clearly state whether HST, travel, parking, accommodation or venue specific production costs apply. These charges will be confirmed before you sign the service agreement.
Do you need a meal at the reception?
While not required, we greatly appreciate being provided a vendor meal if your event includes dinner service. This helps us stay energized throughout your celebration.
How far in advance do you arrive?
Arrival time depends on the package, venue access and number of sound or lighting areas required. We arrive early enough to complete setup, sound checks and equipment testing before the agreed service begins.
What are your payment and cancellation terms?
A 30 percent nonrefundable booking retainer is required to reserve your wedding date. The remaining balance is due seven days before the wedding.
Cancellation, postponement and date change terms are explained in the service agreement provided before booking.
